Show eo WOMEN'S ART EXHIBIT. During tho past wcok thoro has been on exhibition In tho gymnasium room of tho grammar school building an nrt exhibit that every cltlzon should mako an effort to see. In oth-or oth-or cities whoro tho pictures havo been shown an admission feo hns been charged. In Lohl, however, the nchools aro standing all oxponses and nro admitting the peoplo free. Tho exhibit consists of fifty-fdur, chlofiy oil paintings loaned by ;tho Now York Ladles' Art society. ho pictures hnVo- an aggregate vulue of over $0,000, nnd many of them are probnbly worth tho price quoted In the cntnloguo. Tho paintings, excepting a half dozen by nn Idaho nrtlst, aro all painted paint-ed by Now York lady nrtjstfl. The exhibition is being sent out by the National Woman's Federation, and -in Utoh Is under tho direction of the State Federation of Women's Clubs. Tho exhibition will continue today nnd probably Monday. |
