"Just think of the poor children." and "They will have to go to the orphans' home," are some of the things that are being said to him. No I wonder ho Is worried. In the morning mall the deputy received a letter telling him to send his wife some money or his children would become county coun-ty charges. Who this wife is is more than the deputy can understand. The letter is written from Osceola, Neb., a town he never heard of before. "This Is the limit," he declared, on reading read-ing the letter. "It Is enough to break a man up In business. Me. having a wife in that place. Where is It?" But the letter was addressed to W. A. Edwards, and not to the deputy, William Edwards. |
