Show Timothy Shea, Daniel Shea, Beverly Beck and Mrs. E. A. Beck motored to Ogden and visited vis-ited Sammy Beck. Mr. and Mrs- Walter Jensen and family enjoyed Sunday dinner din-ner at the home of Mrs. Jensen's sister, Mrs. Clark of Salt Lake City. Mr- and Mrs. Oeorge A. Beck of Draper visited the E. A. Becks in Highland Boy Sunday even-j even-j ing. They enjoyed sight-seeing i through all points of interest. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Strelich were visitors of Mrs. Tony Az-jzelio Az-jzelio Wednesday evening. Tom is a former Highland Boy resident resi-dent and was recently discharged discharg-ed from service. His wife is the former Virginia Baros of Cop-perfield. Cop-perfield. They plan to make their home in California. Mrs- George Badovinatz returned re-turned home from Seattle, Wash., Friday morning. She enjoyed three weeks with her husband, Pvt. George Badovinatz, now stationed in Washington. Mrs. Katie Petkovich returned to her mothers, Mrs. Matt Pa-zell's, Pa-zell's, after an operation at St. Mark's hospital Tuesday morning. morn-ing. Her husband plans to leave fur Arizona in the near future. i Mary Pasquali Ii Bride of the Week In a quiet, simple afternoon ceremony at Holy Rosary church Tuesday, Miss Mary Pasquali, daughter of Tony Pasquali, and Marko Yengich, son of Mrs. Rose Yengich, were united in marriage. mar-riage. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Daniel E. Leahy. The bride wore a beautiful white taffeta dress with a sweetheart sweet-heart neckline and lovely net skirt, gathered at the waistline and falling in folds of net completed com-pleted the picture. Her veil fell ! from a beaded crown held by j small pearls. The bridal bouquet c insisted of roses, carnations and gardenias. Matron of honor was Mrs Pete Pasquali of Bingham and best man was Chester Pasquali Pas-quali of Salt Lake City-Following City-Following the ceremony a delightful de-lightful dinner was held in honor of the newly-weds at the home of Mrs. Rose Yengich. Dinner was served for approximately one hundred guests. Many lovely love-ly gifts were received. ' W dnesday the couple left for California to spend a 10-day honeymoon. Mrs. Mike Churieh and Mrs. ; Nick A. Yengich enjoyed a movie i and light luncheon Wednesday J evening. Ann and Mary Casich enjoyed a card party at the home of Mrs. Thomas Cameron and Mrs- Nick I A. Yengich. Later a delicious i luncheon was served. A surprise party was held in i honor of Helen Camara at the I home of Blanche Silva of Bing-! Bing-! ham. A chicken dinner was served ser-ved and snapdragons decorated the room. Centering the table was a large birthday cake. Place cards were set for Mrs. Pete Za-bo Za-bo la, Mrs. K. Alexander, Mrs. Vivian Carter, Ann Casich, Helen Hel-en Goris, Rose Camara, and Mrs Lorraine Hartman. Lovely gifts were received by the honoree. Seaman 1C William Pugnire of Midvale is home on a fifteen day leave, visited Mr. and Mrs. Joe Scorzato and family. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence J. Roth of Colfax, Calif., are receiving congratulations on the birth of a daughter September 18. Mrs Roth is the former Rose Yengich of Highland Boy. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Muhar and sons visited Mr. and Mrs. Ted Bilbao and Mildred Muhar Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. Sgt. and Mrs. Gordon Jackson of San Francisco arrived Tuesday Tues-day evening for a short stay at the Clarence Bullock home. Mrs Jackson is the former Arilla Bullock. Bul-lock. Cpl. Eugene Tazzer arrived at Camp Claibourne, La., where he is awaiting further orders. RM 3C Nick A. Yengich is now stationed at Middleton Island, Is-land, Seward Alaska. Mike Ausick, S. 1 c, wrote his sisters that his plans for the future fu-ture will be to spend a few years in China. Mr. and Mrs- Joe Zupan and Teresa Louise of Millford, spent Saturday with relatives in Bingham Bing-ham and West Jordan. Cpl. Thomas Cameron, now stationed at Camp Cooke, Calif., is expecting a 15-day furlough soon. Mrs. Mike Church of Lower Bingham visited Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lucas and family. Frances De Michele of Tooele spent Thursday and Friday with Mary and Ann Casich. The three were dinner guests of Mary Love-rich. Love-rich. Martin Pazell spent Wednesday Wednes-day visiting at the Pete Man-darich Man-darich home in Midvale. |
