The tendency upward became definite, the confident buying of several of the Standard stocks serving to Inject a degree de-gree of strength into the entire market. Business was somewhat larger than recently re-cently in the grain-carrying stocks. St Paul. Louisville & Nashville. Minneapolis. St. Paul & Saulte Ste. Marie preferred, Kansas & Texas preferred, the St Louis Southwestern stocks.
