Show CREDITORS GUESSING Agreements in Schcttlcr Case Mot Being Carried Car-ried Gut. When B. H. Schemer's creditors met a week ago and accepted a compromise offered by the Insolvent banker, and the attorneys for Mrs. . Mary Morgan Schettler, for the settlement of their claims, they believed that the deeds transferrins; the Brigham street property prop-erty to the assets of the' bank would be made out at once, and that a deed, giving Mrs. Schettler a home, would be filed Immediately. Neither of these steps has been taken, tak-en, and it Is thought that the matter Is as far from actual settlement as it was before the proposition was made and accepted. It is said that this delay is caused by the banker and not by the creditors who are eager for a settlement. Attorney At-torney C. B. Stewart, attorney for the creditors. Is out of the city, and a special spe-cial meeting of the creditors may be called as soon as he returns, to consider consid-er this new phase of the case. |
