Show STATUS OF CASE OF STANDARD OFFICIALS i PEORIA. Ill, May i2. According to a statement made today to the Associated Asso-ciated Press, there was no error In the requisition papers for the two Indicted Standard OH officials, presented to the Governor recently, but the authorities at Springfield, acting presumably on the advice of the Attorney-General's office, refused to grant them, on the ground that If the alleged subornation of the perjury was committed in Ohio, the men. should be punished there. Mr. Schaefer, State's Attorney, says that he does not believe that the Governor Gov-ernor ever saw the papers and that he Is going to lay the matter before him personally. |
