Show if 0 RAISE FUND FOR BOWLING CONGRESS Members of the City and Commercial leagues of bowlers held a splendid meeting meet-ing at the Commercial club yesterday and arranged for the first annual tournament tourna-ment of the Western Bowling congress on . March 7, 1906. The executive committee was enlarged by the addition of six names from the ranks of the Commercial club, and as enlarged en-larged is as follows: Fisher Harris, secretary sec-retary -of the Commercial club; W. D. Risbel and Messrs. Hanes, Zimmerman, A.' W. Smith, Zehrlng. Samuel Spits, Capt Barratt, Messrs. Schmlerer. Ham-line, Ham-line, Brown, Collins, Danley and Hlgham. j The prise list will require the expenditure expendi-ture of $1000. This must be raised by subscription. sub-scription. Members of the two leagues have already pledged over $200 of this amount and steps will be taken at once to raise the balance. If more can be .'.raised It will serve to render the tourna-.mirent tourna-.mirent all the more successful. A com-. com-. mittee of two, Messrs. McLeOd and Fad-dies, Fad-dies, has been appointed to circulate the ' subscription list and both boilers and non-bowlers are requested to have their subscriptions ready. At the meeting tonight to-night of the executive committee other minor committees will be appointed. |
