Show DAER AND MINERS TO HOLD MEETING . Tug of War Between Operators Op-erators and Coal Diggers Dig-gers Will Be Started. NEW YORK, Jan. 15. The coal operators ope-rators as well as Individual mine-own-- ers will meet the miners' representatives representa-tives 'h about two weeks. President George F. Baer of the Reading and John Mitchell, head of the United Mine-Workers, recently reached -an agreement for the conference. Railroad Rail-road operators have not outlined their attitude toward the miners for the reason rea-son that the miners have not presented their case fully. The individual operators will be represented rep-resented by Joseph Lb Cake of the Clear Spring Coal company, at West Pittston, Pa., and by Frank Pardee of the Pardee Coal company, at Hazleton. Mr. Baer will represent the railroad operators. |
