Peabody and Mr. and Mrs. Lafayette Hanchett. MRS. J. E. BAMBERGER left for California Cali-fornia yesterday, to remain several weeks. D. R. CONLEY of San Francisco, who has been visiting friends for a week, left for Mexico yesterday. MRS. L. E. HALL, who has spent the last few weeks In California with her mother. Mrs.- Hood, has returned to the city. MISS KATHLEEN TOWNSEND of Provo Pro-vo will he the guest of Miss Edith Magulre tomorrow. THE SHAKESPEARE section of the Ladies' La-dies' Literary club met at the clubhouse club-house this morning. MRS. F. E. STRAUP of Bingham is visiting vis-iting friends., in the city for a few days. - . -MR. AND MRS. CHARLES MORRIS of Montana arrived here from New York yesterday, to remain a few days. . MRS. HORNBUCKLE of Bingham is the guest of Mrs. J. W: DeFord for a short time. THE FIRST annual ball Of the Bohemian club was given at Chrlstensen's last night. Those who attended were given the most delightful music of the season by the orchestra of twenty-flve members of the club, under the leadership leader-ship of Prof. Chrlstensen. The crowd was not bs large as was anticipated, but those who went had an enjoyable evening. MISS NELLIE CULLEN gave a card party at her residence on Fifth East street yesterday In honor 0 her friend, Mrs. Hurdman of Denver. A luncheon waa also served and covers were laid for twenty. |
