Just before the House sauntered yesterday yester-day afternoon Kinney rose to a question of personal privilege and said that he had been misrepresented in the Tribune and Herald last Sunday in the story of the vote on S. B. No-. 110, the Associated Press bill. . Both of these papers say that I told Representative DSIley when he came In from the cloakroom while the roll was being be-ing called that this was "Just a little legal matter," and It was all right." said Mr. Kinney. "I wish to set myself right. These statements sre falsehoods. I said nothing of the sort, but distinctly said that It was the 'press bill." " Dalley then rose and denied that he had told the reporters that Mr. Kinney had misrepresented the bill to him. Mr. Dalley Dal-ley said that he only said that he "thought it was a little legal matter." Following the explanations. McCrea I moved that the "apologies" of the two members be accepted. |
