The report was adopted' without debate, and the bill goes on the Senate calendar for Saturday afternoon. , 8. B. o. ISO, the new bounty bill, passed the upper body Friday, after a lengthy discussion. In which an effort was made to reduce the annual appropriation appro-priation fromJIO.OOO to $5000. Under the provisions of the new law. bounties are paid merely on coyotes, lynx and wildcats, and $1 each is the price. The scalps must be kept by the County Clerks and the accounts audited every three months, when the scalps will be burned in the presence of at least one County Commissioner. ' The Senate . received twenty-three committee reports . favorable to- bills and two unfavorable, and in addition to this passed four Senate bills and five House bills. The Senators are working hard to dean up their slate, and if the House will permit them, will be ready for adjournment at the regular time. |
