Show DISTRICT ENGINEER FELLOWS RESIGNS i DENVER, March 4. The News today says: A. Lincoln Fellows, district engineer of the United States reclamation service. In charge of the great irrigation projects In seven Western States, has resigned. Mr. Fellows telegraphed his resignation to Charles D. Walcott, director of the United Unit-ed States geological survey at Washington, Washing-ton, last night with the- request that it be Immediately accepted. At the stfme time he sent another telegram accepting the appointment of State Engineer of North Dakota. Mr. Fellows' resignation is the outcome of technical differences of opinion among the members of the board of consulting engineers of this district over the Un-compahrre Un-compahrre Irrigation project, also known as the Gunnison tunnel, now In course of construction a few miles below Montrose in this State.
