Show CANDLELIGHT SERVICE TO BE GIVEN THURSDAY Most elaborate and popular of the public programs planned for the Christmas holidays is the annual an-nual Candlelight service to be presented next Thursday even ing, December 18 at 8 o'clock at Bingham high school auditorium. Joel P. Jensen, music instructor at the high school, is director of the service. The public is cordially cor-dially invited to attend. The following musical selec- tions will be included in the ser- vice: prelude music will be by I Barbara Coward, Roberta John-: John-: ston and Gerry Shilling followed ; by the processional. Numbers ! will be as follows: "Rosary" a ; vocal solo by Mr. Jensen, accompanied accom-panied by the choir; piano solo, recollections from "Home Sweet Home", Gerry Shilling; "Lost Chord", Elma Pazell, soloist with ; choir; "Dawn is Creeping" by 1 the choir; "Christmas Lullaby" ; by the choir with Donna Rae 01-! 01-! sen, soloist; solovox solo, "Ava Maria" by Roberta Johnston; "Noel" by mixed quartet in-I in-I eluding Chris Goris, Mary Re-! Re-! koutis, Arthur Bentley, Janice ! Hansen, Tom Brown, Jerry Pol-j Pol-j lock, Mickey Culleton and Mar-I Mar-I garet McKellar. A flute duet, I "Bells of St. Mary's" by Donna ; Jean Gadd and Gerry Shilling; "Holy Night" a piano duet by Lois Groves and Jerry Watkins: vocal solo "Oh Divine Redeemer" Mrs. Maxine Nelson; choir, "Holy City", "Beautiful Savior", and "Oh Holy Night." Trumpet duet "Holy City" by Don Gust and Norman Doman; "Ava Maria", by girls double trio consisting of Margaret McKellar, Jerry Pollock, Pol-lock, Mary Rekoutis, Janice Hansen, Han-sen, Kaye Abplanalp, and Roberta Ro-berta Johnston; "Stranger In Galilee" vocal solo so-lo by Harry Manos; eight-hand two piano selection "The Three Gagatelles" by Maurine Morley. Valene Rasmussen, Mary Pappa-sideris Pappa-sideris and Meriam Peterson. "XXIII Psalm", choir; "Oh Holy Night" by the choir and Doris Anderson, soloist; "Lord's Prayer" Pray-er" by Kaye Abplanalp and choir. Recessional will be followed by closing prayer by Miss Ada Du-higg. Du-higg. There will be four tableaus depicting de-picting the birth of Christ. Read-jers Read-jers include: Catherine Chipian, ! Margaret Nix and Erma June 1 Gammell. Candlelighters are Be-i Be-i verly Seal and Beverly Burke, j Those participating in the tab-; tab-; lea us are: Beverly Beard as Mary; Ren Adderley as Joseph; Chick Adderley, Paul Kenner and Ronald Ron-ald Ball as wisemen; Bob Ed-vick, Ed-vick, Bob Bailey and Abel Ose-guera, Ose-guera, shepherds. Ushers will be Marlene Diederich, Margy Isbell, Jean Neilson, Bonnie Olsen, Maurine Mau-rine Ray and Gwen Sandstrom. The production is under the direction di-rection of Joel P. Jensen; tableau direction, Miss Vern Baer and i the script was written by Mrs. j I Jensen. |
