A He asked why they were I raiding me I told him I wouldn't pay a premium I didn't didn t think it was worth the protection I could get that even when the state officers laid off me I would still be raided by county officers officers- sometimes twice in one day Raided 16 Times The witness said he had been raided 16 times during May of 1947 1917 by both state and county officers I Q How many raids were made by county officers A A. I didn't work against his election but I didn't support him Following the May 1947 raids the witness said he closed the club and it remained shut during the next year During the questioning relating to the election of Sheriff Dudler the witness became visibly excited He later testified he had been able to get all the whisky I wanted in Carbon county without without without with with- out paying any premiums Seeks Admission Upon reconvening of court at 2 pm p.m. attorney Gustin attempted to draw an admission from Diamanti that he had attended a meeting at Price city hall hail in 1947 attended by Harries Sheriff Dudler and George H.
