S State I I The group included his wife Joan 43 their year old son R Richard i c h a r d and his year old mother Mrs Pat Patricia Muse who lives ives with another son son Fred Fred at 1416 1116 S. S State Also In the car was wasa a small male cat They were reached about 3 am a.m. by Salt Lake county deputy sheriffs in a jeep about one ne quarter quarter ter Ler mile on the Parleys Parley's canyon side of the summit The Muse car slid off the road about 10 pm p.m. Tuesday Deputy Sheriffs Ferris Andrus and Lowell battled their way through drifts on the Parleys Parley's canyon road in a jeep after an earlier attempt on he Emigration tion canyon road failed Authorities were notified about midnight Deputy Sheriffs Lowell McAllister and Rex J J. made the first try but failed to get through the drifts in a sedan and returned for help On the second try on the other road the sedan got to within about two miles of the stranded sedan The jeep went on alone and returned the four persons to the sedan which took them home The four persons huddled to- to See Page 2 Column 7 S.
