| Show J t Granite Teachers Told To Aid Communities GRANITE PARK Sept 3 3 Granite school district teachers I Friday were urged to go into their respective communities and try to improve e them instead of being critical This was asked by Supt David Gourley who outlined 49 1948 ob ob- ob- ob for the district at the closing day sessions of the teachers teach teach- ers workshop Getting along with people is the most valuable fundamental to be taught or learned in the schools he declared He also asked loyalty to the board of education supervisors supervisors supervisors super super- visors principals and each other Other objectives included becoming becom becom- J ing ng g acquainted with the background background background back back- ground and emotional life of their pupils and creating an attitude of belonging and security of of- self and children There Is no alternative for work Mr Gourley added I In other morning and afternoon I sessions departmental meetings were conducted by departmental leaders On Saturday all teachers will meet with principals at the various schools schools' to organize the years year's work |
