Mrs. Eddie Anderson and chil-dren, Sharon and Larry, left Monday for a months visit in Mt. Pleasant and Eureka with relatives and friends. Mrs. E. G. Ball and Raymond Hall are visiting with relatives in Everett, Wash. LOCAL NOTES CharLeen Hutchings celebrat-ed her seventh birthday Friday, August 1 with a delightful party at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Hutchings. Gam-es and refreshments were enjoy-ed by Ann Marie and EIRay Whitlock, Ann Marie Sybrowsky, day of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sort-er of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Olsen vis-ited Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Olsen of Pleas-ant Grove. Ruth and Rae Barnett left Thursday by plane for El Paso, Tex., where they met Mrs. G. P. Grant who accompanied them to Las Cruces, New Mexico, where they will visit with her for two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Price re-turned recently from a vacation in Montrose, Colo., where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Price. Guiver of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Johnson and children. Shirley and Karen, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Jolley, Mr. and Mis. Arbin Jolley and Aaron Jolley and girl friend, Dorothy, all of Murray, enjoyed Friday evening swimming at Black Rock beach after which the group dined at the Duck club. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Warner enjoyed Wednesday evening in Salt Lake City seeing "Promised Valley." Mr. and Mrs. Les Smith and family of Midvale, Mr. and Mrs. Kell of Salt Lake City. The girls attended a fireside meeting w here Earl Cox was principal speaker. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kanniainen and daughter Sandra Jean of Highland Boy visited Wednes-day evening with Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Ray Gammell and daughters, Gerry and Erma Junet Patsy Garrity and Johnny Jenkins, enjoyed a picnic in Salt Lake City Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Calderwood and Miss Susan Calderwood of Provo were dinner guests Tues-day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cowdell. Tuesday evening visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George A Gadd were Mr. and Mrs. John NiLssen of Bingham. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ray and daughters, Maurine and Beverly, and Shirley Mayne, left Sunday morning for California. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Johnson and family visited Wednesday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Har-old Heaton of Hunter. Six girls from Copperton will spend this week-en- d at the Girls MIA home at Brighton. They are Roslyn Hansen, Marilyn Bolton, Mary Lynn Gaythwaite, Aria Olsen, Karlene Wilson and a Lancaster. Lola Jean Gammell was Sun-day overnight guest of Jean Mc- - Mrs. Dewey Mayne left Wed-nesday for Oakland, Calif., where she will join her daughter Shir-ley and they will visit two weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Bolt.
