Show BINGHAM POLICE HAVEBUSY WEEK Police officers in Bingham Canyon have had a busy week. Last Thursday Chief of Police R. J. Contratto and Deputy Sheriff J. L. Householder arrested Joyce Anderson and Dean McEllroy, two young ladies that had escaped escap-ed from the Salt Lake City jail on July 24. The two were turned over to Salt Lake Citv police. Nick Kosovich appeared before be-fore Justice of the Peace F. A. Miller Monday and was given a four months jail sentence. Kosovich Koso-vich struck Chief Contratto last Saturday evening when he was being arrested. Clyde Cloward appeared before Mr. Miller Monday, Mon-day, plead guilty to habitual drunkenness and was given a 60-day 60-day jail term. Charles Horner and Criscido Benedez were arrested Saturday evening by Mr. Contratto and J. L. Householder for being under un-der the influence of liquor. Both appeared before Judge Miller Monday and plead guilty. Horner was fined $15.00 and Benedez was given a 30-day jail sentence. O |
