Bennion and children child-ren returned Tuesday evening from a week's vacation at the Bennion ranch near Cokeville, Wyo. To celebrate the closing of the Copperton kindergarten, Mrs. Myrtle Malstrom, instructor, invited in-vited the parents to a well arranged ar-ranged program Friday, July 16. The program consisted of a clever clev-er arrangement, showing the activities ac-tivities of the children during the summer session. The parents were well pleased with the progress pro-gress the children have made during the summer. The Copperton junior school band enjoyed a swim at Wasatch plunge Thursday. Following swimming the band members held a picnic. The Relief society of the Copperton Cop-perton ward held a quilting bee Monday in the Copperton LDS church. Those attending were Mrs. Pearl Cheever, Mrs. Fred Cox, Mrs. Dahrl Davis, Mrs. Clinton Poulsen, Mrs. Richard Smith and Mrs. L. E. Barnett. Luncheon was served in the late afternoon.
