Show Kay Nelson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Nelson underwent an appendectomy in South Carolina Caro-lina July 17. Kay was on a tour with the Allenton, Pa., Fleet-wings Fleet-wings baseball team when taken to the hospital. Several Lark Boy Scouts accompanied ac-companied by their scoutmaster, James Reed, are spending several sev-eral days at Tracy Wigwam in Millcreek canyon. Scouts attending attend-ing are Cal and Dale Crump, Blaine Peterson, Cal Nelson, Don Gressman, Byron Burmeister and Norman Steele. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Giles and family of Los Angeles, vacationed vacation-ed a week at the home of Mr. Giles' mother, Mrs. Frank Sweat. Mrs. Dorothy Sayatovieh of Bingham visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gressman Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bullock and daughter, Dorsi Dean, left Tuesday for a month's vacation in Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Neilson announce the birth of a daughter daugh-ter at the Cottonwood Maternity home Thursday, July 15. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Paul and family are spending two weeks at the home of Mrs. Paul's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. David Magee. Mrs. F. K. Potter of Salt Lake City was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Thomas Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. James Bowles of South Jordan and Mrs. Marie Peterson of Salt Lake City were dinner guests of Mr, and Mrs. Isaac Oliver Sunday. Robert Goodwin underwent an operation at the Veteran's hospital hos-pital in Los Angeles Saturday. His condition is reported as satisfactory. sat-isfactory. Several young friends of Miss Carol Steele were entertained by Mrs. Leonard Steele Saturday afternoon at a birthday party. Each little guest received a favor. fa-vor. Refreshments were served. Mrs. J. M. Paine of Salt Lake City and Miss Elmyra Eastman visited over the week-end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Geo-rge Eastman. Mr. and Mrs. Doren L. Misses Carol and Mary Dean Crump visited with their grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Crump of Herriman over the week-end. Mrs. George Eastman and daughter, dau-ghter, Aloha, were guests of Mrs. Eastman's daughter, Mrs. Jesse Paine of Salt Lake City, Monday and Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Klingensmith of Lark announce the birth of a son, born at the Bingham hospital hos-pital July 19. Mr. and Mrs. George Brockle-bank Brockle-bank and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wilson of Bingham were guests of Mr. and Mrs- Charles Clinton Tuesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Abplan-alp Abplan-alp and Kaye, of Sandy were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Giles Tuesday evening. Miss Lorraine Clinton is spending spend-ing a week at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Geo-rge Johnson of Taylorsville.
