J Ashton 1155 First avenue and first of all they'll drive up to toY Yel el- el From there they go on onto onto onto to the Great Lakes take a boat up to Montreal over to Quebec then down to New York where they'll see the fair While Mr Ashton attends the convention of the National Institute Institute tute of Architects in Washington D. D C. C the rest of them will go sightseeing in the capital city If It you should happen to telephone telephone telephone tele tele- phone Mrs Norman C. C Tanner one of these days dont don't get discouraged if she doesn't happen to answer I right away seems away seems that theres there's a abit abit abit bit of procedure that must be gone through first Her young son Clark i if is just beginning to crawl and as the telephone telephone telephone tele tele- phone seems to be particularly fascinating to him the operator has been kept in somewhat of a dither as to just why the light keeps flashing at the Tanner resi resi- dence Its It's all remedied now though because Mrs Tanner has concocted the scheme of tying down the phone while little Clark plays to his hearts heart's content Only thing is that when the phone rings the string must first be untied untied- so dont don't hang up if it takes a while for her to answer because sometimes sometimes sometimes some some- times the knots refuse to loos loosen n right away Tooting off to Logandale Nev week in the new car that she bought this summer will be Miss Etta Lou Cowles who will be initiated initiated ini mi- into the teaching profession just as soon as school starts First of all shell she'll drive down to Fillmore where shell she'll stay a while with Shirley Monson then off shell she'll go to Nevada Quite an experience experience experience ex ex- it'll be for her when she begins teaching home economics to Junior high school students for not only will it be her first experience experience ence at teaching but it'll be the first time that she's ever seen her new home town off to Seattle Wash I II Sunday morning will be Stanley I Stephenson who is to act net as one of the ushers at the wedding of Dorothy Salsbury and Dick Roberts Roberts Rob Rob- erts which is to be performed ROb ROb-j up there on Friday i Donna Mae Harrington and Adele Squires quires are two other Salt Lakers who'll be going up there for they're to be her bridesmaids Remember Jane Slaton Well she used to live here in Salt Lake City but now her home is in Hollywood Hollywood Hollywood Holly Holly- wood for she is under contract with a movie studio down there She was here last week for a bit bitof bitof bitof of a vacation then left again Friday Friday Friday Fri Fri- day night to go back to work Coming into Salt Lake by train on Saturday evening will be Dorothy Dorothy Dorothy Doro Doro- thy Stockman who's going to spend her two weeks of vacation with her parents Dr and Mrs D. D Stockman Eighth avenue She loves her work down there therein in San Francisco where she has hasan hasan hasan an apartment with Ruth Dupaix another Salt Laker but its it's always sorta nice to come home for a vacation vacation vacation va va- va- va cation every now and then |
