state and this improvement improvement improve improve- ment must of necessity come through the development nt of th the basic industries of ot our state wit to-wit to wit mining manufacturing agriculture livestock and the tourist business During the past two or three years it became necessary for the federal government to provide unemployment relief for millions of people of the nation and the year ear 1935 marked the beginning of the ascent out of the period o of depression through th the development development development develop develop- ment of normal activities of the basic industries of the country and a quick return to what we call normalcy normalcy nor nor- nor 5 malcy will now come come through the thc absorption by industry of the millions millions mil mu- lions who are still sUll employed on projects made possible through the thet t expenditure of oC federal and state funds It Is the the- obligation on of oC all Int interested rested in the welfare of AmerIca Amer- Amer lea Ica ca and American Ideals to lend their heir support to the development of these industrial activities Tax Burdens Mount Our OUI tax burdens and federal obligations ob- ob have mounted
