S. army medical corps, who is on leave from duty in the Aleutian islands, was introduced by T. H. McMullin of the military mili-tary affairs committee. The military men "in on the Kiska deal" had no idea where the Japs went, Major Freeman stated, but "because of their voluntary vol-untary evacuation it is estimated that American casualties saved were 5000 dead and 5 to 10 thousand thous-and wounded." The Japs left plenty of booby traps on Kiska and some soldiers sold-iers showed total disregard for training and safety and were wounded by these traps. Medical Medi-cal men are called upon to treat a great many psychoneurotic cases. This war is a scientific war, with everything planned and plotted and the military command com-mand has an exact knowledge of position of supplies, which are reaching the men, Major Freeman Free-man concluded. r |
