H Carner Garner a storekeeper Stewart suffered gunshot and knife wounds inflicted by Carner Garner The merchant mer nier- chant was felled with a blow from froma a club carried by the bandits Mrs Garner Carner also was beaten I Stewart formerly lived near here and was employed in th the Carner Garner store He returned a few ew days ago accompanied accompanied by Henson
