A Dowd special special special cial agent in charge of the Salt Lake Lake Lak office of the United States bureau burea of investigation reported on Wednesday Wednesday Wednes day Agents of this office have interviewed interviewed inter inter- viewed a considerable number of persons persons persons per per- sons reported as having withdrawn withdraw gold or sold gold certificates Mr Dowd Dow said In a majority of instances instance they have found that such persons person had returned the gold or certificates prior to contact by the agents o or were able to explain its disposition satisfactorily In some ha-some some cases they found persons who still possessed more than 10 In gold or certificates and these agreed to return what they held to banks In several cases it was found that tha the withdrawals of gold were in greater reater amounts than reported by i J.
