J Moffat moved to Salt Lake to become sec see and treasurer of the Salt Lake and Ogden Gas and Electric Light company which later became the Utah Light and Railway company He married Hannah Griffith in the I L. L D. D S. S endowment house howe in 1879 His wife died several years ago He served for many years yean as chief chiei of the Caledonian club of which he hea was a charter member He also served I as secretary of the Twentieth ward institute from which the L.
