Show THREE BHS STUDENTS RECEIVE PRIVILEGE OF ATTENDING U. of U. Three senior students at Bingham Bing-ham high school registered Monday Mon-day for the winter quarter at the University of Utah. The state school for the first time in its history was admitting to regular college classes high school students stu-dents who had completed 15 units of high school curriculum with at least a "B" average. The new development is part of the speedup educational program outlined and approved in Washington, Wash-ington, D.C. . , Those registering " at the university uni-versity under the plan will receive re-ceive diplomas from high school even though they have left regular re-gular classwork- to earn university univer-sity credit ' ' ;' , . , The three from Bingham high school who are taking advantage of an opportunity to begin university uni-versity work before they become of age. for military service' are Paul Richards, son of Dr. and Mrs Paul S. Richards of Bingham; Bing-ham; and from Copperton, Ray Pett, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. . Pett and Stephen Pickering, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Pickering. |
