Cpl Hinckley left yesterday yes-terday (Thursday) to return to duty at Pinedale, Calif., after a 15-day furlough spent in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Ray E. Spend love plans to leave by train Sunday to join her husband, Lieutenant Spend-love, Spend-love, now stationed at Fort Ben-ning, Ben-ning, Ga. Needle and Thimble club members mem-bers were guests at the home of Mrs. Joseph Timothy Wednesday evening. Mrs. Arthur Cook was the gracious hostess to No. 1 Firemen's Fire-men's auxiliary Monday evening. Prizes at bridge were presented Mrs. John Osoro, Mrs. Lon Rawlins Raw-lins and Mrs. Bruce Ivie Sr. Lovely Love-ly refreshments were served to 12. Final social of the summer season for Women's Democratic club and guests was held last Saturday evening at the home of Mrs. Roy Ashworth with Mrs. S- J. Kenner cohostess. Prizes at five hundred were claimed by Mrs. Ellis Boren, Mrs. Laura Tampakis; Mrs. Joseph Timothy, house; and George Panos. Luncheon Lun-cheon was served to 16.
