Show Society... SUPPER GIVEN FOR VISITING SERVICEMEN Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Cutler entertained en-tertained at a supper at their home Monday evening, complimenting compli-menting three servicemen, Pfc. Melvin J. Teasflale, a brother, F 1c Wilbert A. Giles and Pfc. Kenneth Parsons, son of Mrs. John Cutler. ' Others in attendance were, Mr. and Mrs. J. Albert Giles, Mr. and Mrs. John Cutler. Miss LaWana Taylor, Mrs. Melvin Teasdale and the host and hostess. JAYCEE WIVES CONDUCT MEETING The regular July meeting of the Jaycee Wives was conducted at Valley Tavern last Thursday evening eve-ning and the White color group of which Mrs. George Bird is captain, cap-tain, was in charge. Lunch was served early in the evening to about thirty members and later, Ralph Child showed motion mo-tion pictures of Jaycee activities. Lois Hansen entertained with an amusing reading and little Jean Smith sang two songsi Also, several sev-eral scrapbooks of Jaycee Auxiliary Auxili-ary activities were exhibited. STAKE RELIEF SOCIETY ENTERTAINS AT SOCIAL Members of the Stake Relief Society So-ciety presidency, including Mrs. Zelma Beardall, Mrs. Gladys Boyer, Boy-er, Mrs. Helen Crandall, and the board members, entertained at a social for members of the various ward presidents in the Fourth ward on the last Friday evening in June. From small tables decorated with roses, a nicely arranged luncheon lun-cheon was served early in the evening eve-ning and followed by a short program. pro-gram. Later, games were also en joyed. About thirty-five ladies were in attendance. |
