Show Personal News Notes , Mr. and Mrs. Ed Williams are visiting relatives and friends in California. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Reed visited visit-ed the past week with relatives and friends in Colorado. Evelyn Reed recently returned from , California where she has visited friends at Eureka and at Crescent. Mrs. Dan Nielson of Boise, Ida., is visiting here this week with her brother, John Hardy, and family. Mrs. Shirley Brailsford is spending spend-ing this week in Salt Lake City with her sister, Mrs. Fred B. Evans, Ev-ans, and family. Mrs. Ruth M. Dixon and little son and daughter of Vallejo, Cal., are spending several weeks with her mother, Mrs. G. W. Menden- hall, and other relatives here. Mrs. Dean Bird returned the past week from Oceanside, Calif., where she visited Pvt. Bird, who is stationed with the Marines and expects to leave soon for overseas. Mrs. John Swenson and son are spending a few days with her par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Bear-dall, Bear-dall, from Loa. Mr. Swenson also visited here over Sunday. Sylvia Scovil, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Scovil of Mapleton, is attending the University of California Cal-ifornia at Berkeley during the summer, and visiting her grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Polly Curtis Scovil. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Robinson, Mrs. LaDean Henrichsen and Mr. and Mrs. Alton Harker were in Farmington Sunday to attend the birthday dinner honoring J. A. Harker, a former resident of this! city. Lt. and Mrs. Paul K. Hansen (Mildred Parry) and little son spent a short time in Springville the past week. They came from Lancaster, Calif., where Lt. Hansen Han-sen has been stationed and returned re-turned to San Francisco. He expects ex-pects to go overseas soon. Dr Eugene S. Dalton, prominent promi-nent ' physician of Atlantic City, N. J., is spending- a few weeks in Springville, convalescing from a recent major operation, ne i house guest of his sister, Mrs. M. F. Miner and husband, and is visiting vis-iting other relatives and friends. Dr. Dalton, well known throughout through-out the East for his medical research re-search work as well as for his perfected medical devices, had been for somev months before undergoing un-dergoing an operation at the Boston Bos-ton hospital, one of the largest institutions of its kind in the East. Dr. Dalton is enjoyoing fishing and the scenic attractions of his native na-tive state. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Moser (Naomi (Nao-mi Tipton) are visiting. her mother moth-er Mrs. Dan Witney, and other relatives here. They reside at Mosia Beach, Calif., where she has been teaching school. It is her first visit to Springville in nearly three years. |
