Show Paragraphs Or (Interest With the Eighth Army at Na-gai, Na-gai, Japan Now serving with the famed 1st Cavalry Division, which is on occupation duty in the Tokyo-Yokohama Tokyo-Yokohama area, is Private First Class Marcel K. Tingey, son of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy D. Tingey, 203 Brookside Drive, Springville. The division is commanded by Maj. Gen. William C. Chase, and is part of the Eighth Army commanded by Lt. Gen. Robert L. Eichelberg-er. Eichelberg-er. Private First Class Tingey entered en-tered the army on Sept. 17, 1946, and received basic training at Aberdeen,' Maryland. In December of 1946 he embarked for overseas duty and is now assigned to Headquarters Head-quarters Troop, 2nd Squadron of the famous JFifth Cavalry Regiment. Regi-ment. Mrs. Joyce Passwaters and her sister, Miss Ruth Hardy, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. John Hardy, left the latter part of the past week to spend ten days with friends in Sacramento, Calif. Fred Weight and family, including includ-ing Mr. and Mrs. Verl Weight, R. G. Weight, Darlene and Lyman Weight, and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Randall of Centerville, were Christmas Christ-mas day dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Devere Weight at Ogden. i |
