Show the M. I. A., Monday evening, Mrs. V. C. Mendenhall will give a talk on the Philippines. All who have boys serving -in the Philippines, as well as others, will be especially interested in this talk. Mutual begins at 7:30 p. m. and all are invited. Sixth Ward . . . The speakers at the Sixth ward meeting Sunday evening, under direction of the Missionaries will be Mrs. Maggie Wood and Mrs. Frankie Averett, retiring missionaries of the ward. A fine musical program is also being arranged ar-ranged for the evening. The meet- , ing begins at 7:45 p. m., and all members of the ward are urged to be present. At the Special Interest class meeting of the M. I. A., Monday evening, Mrs. L. L. Cullimore will discuss the coming World Peace conference to be held in San Francisco Fran-cisco next month. CHURCH NOTICES First Ward . . . Theodore Madsen of Provo,, who came to this country as a convert to the church will tell of his personal per-sonal experiences in the church, at the First ward Sunday evening meeting beginning at 7 p. m. The program will also include a vocal duet by Carrel Waters and Mrs. Arbeth Dalton. The missionaries of the ward will be in charge of the meeting and all members of the ward are urged to attend. Second Ward . . . The Second ward meeting Sunday Sun-day evening is under direction of the Missionaries who have secured Paul Thorn as the principal speaker. speak-er. The Sunday evening meeting will be under direction of the Missionaries, the program to begin be-gin at 7 p. m. LeRoy Tingey will be the speaker speak-er of the evening and in connection connec-tion with his talk, musical numbers num-bers have been arranged. Mrs. Roy Harrington will be in charge of the meeting and a large representation repre-sentation of ward members is desired. de-sired. Fourth Ward . . . The Fourth ward program for Sunday includes regular Sunday School at 9:30 a, m., followed by priesthood meeting. In the evening beginning at 6:30 p. m.. Sacrament meeting will be held under direction of the Missionaries. Mis-sionaries. They have arranged to have a group from the Delta Phi scfrority of the B. Y. U. under the direction of West Belnap, to give the complete program. The Special Interest group of the M. I. A. Tuesday evening will feature a regular lesson religion given by Seymour Mendenhall. Fifth Ward . . . The Missionaries of the Fifth ward will be in charge of the meeting Sunday evening and the program will include several short talks by students from the Seminary, Semi-nary, under direction of Wm. T. Tew. The meeting will begin at 6 p. m., and an invitation is extended ex-tended to all members of the ward to attend. In the Special Interest class of |
