Show Women Urged To Save Pin Money for Bond Household pin money for a Seventh Sev-enth War Loan bond big enough to give a wounded soldier at least seven days' hospital care! This is the gist of the new "7x7" project for Utah women in the next major war bond drive. The Seventh War Loan starts May 14 and continues through June 30. But don't wait until May . 14 to get ready to buy that bond or chances are you never will, says Mrs. O. A. Wiesley, state women's war bond chairman. "Start filling a war savings stamp album right now and by the time the drive rolls around you'll have that bond already bought the easy way, with pin money, the most dangerous kind of inflation money, the kind that might otherwise oth-erwise be carelessly spent on useless use-less knick-knacks." In a form letter to women's or-, or-, ganizations of Utah, Mrs. Wiesley and Mrs. H. A. Robbins, state organizations or-ganizations chairman, advocated adoption of group quotas. "How many days hospital treatment will your group finance?" they asked. A $50 bond, costing $37.50 will provide seven days' hospital care for one soldier. Hence the name "7 x 7" for the drive project. Let's make July 4 a new victory date, a new independence day!" is the resolve asked of every woman in the state. |
