Show MOTHER OF LOCAL WOMAN DIES AT HOME HERE Mrs. Margaret Jane Symes Nut-tall, Nut-tall, 87, widow of Richard James Nuttall, died suddenly of a heart attack, Sunday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Charles Stone, 50 North Main. She had been visiting visit-ing Mrs. Stone about a week, from her home in Salem. Mrs. Nuttall was born in Provo, Sept. 18, 1866, a daughter of Hugh Wesley and Elizabeth Farrer Symes. She was married in the Salt Lake endowment house July 24, 1881. Mr. Nuttall died a number num-ber of years ago. She was the mother of twelve sons and daughters. Ten are living, liv-ing, as follows: Mrs. J. S. Powell, Magna; George W., Hugh, and Ross Nuttall, Provo; Mrs. Charles Stone, Springville; Wm. Nuttall, Spanish Fork, Mrs. C. L. Crawford, Helper; M S. Nuttall, Salem; Mrs. M. J. Hutchinson, Pamona, Calif.; Mrs. Leslie Earens, Santa Monica, Calif. She also reared a granddaughter, grand-daughter, Marian Nuttall. She had 27 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed Wednesday afternoon in the Salem ward chapel, and burial was in the Provo city cemetery, under direction of Claudin funeral funer-al home. |
