Show MAPLETON CLUB -HOLDS OUTING; , WINS STATE AWARD The Mapleton Jaycee Wives and their kiddies joined the dads in a day of picnicking, playing and trapshooting at the beautiful Palmyra Pal-myra Park in Diamond Fork canyon, can-yon, last Sunday. The outing, under direction of the Mapleton club's new president, Roy Johnson, was an outstanding success. All members and the wives enjoyed bagging a few clay pigeons. The children ran foot races and enjoyed 'the play equipment equip-ment at the park while everyone also had a big time with softball. Announcement is also made by the Mapleton club of their winning win-ning the state award for membership member-ship at the state convention held in Logan. The club enjoys the honor and distinction of having a greater per cent of the eligible young men of the community in the club than does any other organization in the state. State officials have entered Ma-pleton's Ma-pleton's record for national hon-I hon-I ors. |
