Show Yearbook School Draws ' Students From Wide Area The various processes employed I in the making of a school annual i were explained to approximately 125 yearbook editors, business I managers and faculty advisors from high schools and colleges j throughout Utah, as well as from Wyoming, Nevada and Idaho, at : the third annual yearbook school conducted in Springville Monday. The school is sponsored by the Art City Publishing Co. of this city which printed annuals for 44 high schools and colleges last year, in an effort to assist year-' year-' book people to solve some of the ! problems connected with their publication. Registration was conducted at Memorial hall from 9 a. m., until 10 o'clock, when a class period was held under direction of Harrison Harri-son Conover, manager of the Publishing Pub-lishing company. At noon, the visitors were guests of Mr. Con-over Con-over at dinner at Chicken Roost. A two hour instruction period was conducted in the afternoon. At the close of the instruction, j an open discussion of problems ' concerning details of yearbook publication was held and later the school representatives toured the printing establishment and looked look-ed over samples of school annuals j as well as many other printing jobs done by the local printing establishment. |
