Show FARM HEARING SET MARCH 23 Utah livestock and farm leaders' views on a long-range program will be presented to members of the United States house of representatives repre-sentatives agricultural committee at a Salt Lake hearing March 23, Tracy R. Weling, state agricultural agricul-tural commission chairman, announced an-nounced Tuesday. Mr. Welling said the following groups have been invited to send representatives: Utah State Farm bureau, Utah Wool Growerj' A.sn., Utah Council of Farm Cooperatives Coopera-tives and Utah Cattlemen and Horse Growers' Assn. The congressional group headed by Rep. Clifford Hope (R , Kan.) will arrive at 8:10 a.m. After breakfast he will go to the University Uni-versity of Utah campus for the general meeting at 10 a.m., in the Union bldg. ballroom. The Utah recommendations will be incorporated in a nation-wide program. Congressmen hope the data will coordinate production and marketing. |
