Show City Adopts Budget For Current Year . Increase Of Approximately $20,000 Noted In Estimated Expenditures For Year Based On Same Tax Levy Of 18 Mills Springville city's budget governing the expenses for the year 1943 has been adopted by the council following a public hearing at which no protests were made. The buaget this year is increased in-creased approximately $20,000 over that of last year and is based on an 18-mill tax levy, the same as in past years. The largest increase in the budget bud-get is noted in the general fund, which is about $10,000 higher than last year. The total budget is $127,-769.34, $127,-769.34, and is divided as follows: General fund, $32,223.60; state gasoline tax fund, $3,795; streets and walks, $3,900; water works, $7,787.70; electric lights, $26,685; irrigation, $2,160; library, $2,905; bond interest, $6,340.24; bond sinking, sink-ing, $28,000; Memorial building fund, $877.15; abutter's portion street paving district No. 2, $1,537; special improvement guarantee fund, $750; headhouse bond sinking sink-ing fund, $1,100; Art building fund, $877.15; sewer fund, $3,831.50; sidewalk paving district No. 3, $1,000. |
