Show i Seminary Exercises Sunday . .. . : A . a Seventy-Six To Receive Diplomas "Life's Enduring Values" to Be Theme Of Graduation Program Sunday Night In High School Auditorium Commencement exercises for approximately seventy-six seminary graduates will be held Sunday evening at 7:30 p. m. in the high school auditorium. 9 Lite's Enduring Values" will be the theme of the program which will be under the direction of William Wil-liam T. Tew and Joseph W. Olsen, instructors. Speakers will be Richard K. Miner, who will give the welcome and introductory address; Helen Christensen, speaking on the subject, sub-ject, "Intellectual Attainments"; Helen Clegg, "Ethical and Social Development"; Vera Bartholomew, "Moral Direction and Controls"; Calvin Clyde, "Spirituality, a Dynamic Dy-namic Force"; Junior Burgi, "The Sacredness of the Human Body." Presentation of graduates will be made by Principal William T. Tew, and the presentation of diplomas di-plomas will be made by President J. Emmett Bird. Musical numbers will include violin music by Carol Con'die and Barbara Gumundsen; vocal solo, "The Lord's Prayer," Richard Dudley; instrumental trio, Lois Johnson, Norma Johnson, and Louise Johnson; vocal duet, "O, Restless Sea," Marian and Maur-ine Maur-ine Francis; vocal trio, Theo Childs, Golda Webb, Lula Fox. The invocation will be offered by George W. Johnson and the benediction by Lenora Billings. |
