Show ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER XLV OF THE REVISED RE-VISED ORDINANCES OF SPRINGVILLE, UTAH, AS PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL COUN-CIL OF SPRINGVILLE, UTAH, ON APRIL 1, 1931, AS AMENDED AMEND-ED APRIL 17, 1939, RELATING TO SALARIES. SECTION I. SECTIONS AMENDED. AM-ENDED. That Sections 500 and 501 of Chapter XLV of the Revised Ordinances Or-dinances of Springville, Utah, passed pass-ed by the City Council of Springville, Spring-ville, Utah, on April 1, 1931, as amended April 17, 1939, relating to-salaries to-salaries be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: SECTION 500. Amounts. The annual salary and compensation of elective and appointive officers of Springville shall on or after the first day of March, A. D. 1942, be as herein provided: Mayor $ 300.00 Councilmen 200.00 Recorder 1,860.00 Treasurer 100.00 Marshal .... 1,680.00 Attorney 200.00 Justice of Peace 125.00 City Physician 150.00 Superintendent of Sewers and Waterworks Wa-terworks 1,800.00 City Clerk 1,320.00 Custodian of City Property 1,200.00 Supervisor of Streets 1,680.00 City Electrician 1,920.00 SECTION 501. The City Council Coun-cil may by resolution regulate and prescribe the compensation of all other appointive officers, deputies, or employees of Springville, but such salary shall not exceed ninety nine-ty (90) per cent of the salary of the head of the department of which said officer or deputy is employed. em-ployed. The above salaries shall be paid monthly. SECTION n. This ordinance shall take effect on and after the 1st day of March, A. D. 1942.
