Show GAME DEPARTMENT RELEASES REPORT State fish and game officials said that revenue for the first five months of this year exceeded by nearly $8,600 the amount received re-ceived for the same period of 1941. Chief Clerk B. L. White reported re-ported that the department receipts re-ceipts for January, February, March, April, and May of this year totaled $61,834, while the 1941 figure fig-ure for the same months was $53,-257. $53,-257. White said that resident fishing and hunting licenses for both years remained about the same $37,538 for 1942 and $37,138 for 1941. However, How-ever, the main increases were shown in the returns on beaver sales and on the sales of special deer permits. The largest month for both years was January, when the license returns were still being received as a carry-over from the preceding year. |
