Show SERVICES TO BE ' FRIDAY FOR MRS. E. BERRY Mrs. Eliza H. Berry, 89, widow of Charles Berry and a pioneer resident of this city, died Monday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. D. S. Burch, in Washington, D. C, where she had made her home the past five years. The body will arrive in Salt Lake City Thursday and friends may call at the home of a niece, Floss Harmer, 210 South Third West, from Friday morning until time of the services., Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted Friday at 2 p. m. in the First ward chapel. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery. Mrs. Berry was born in Springville, Spring-ville, October 13, 1852, a daughter of Elias and Sarah J. Harmer. She was said to be the third child born in this city, and had spent practically her entire life in this community. During her earlier life she was active in church work, especially the Relief society organization, in which she served as a teacher for more than thirty years. She is survived by six sons and daughters, Mrs. C. E. Roylance, C. E. Berry and Mrs. J. Will Creg-head Creg-head of Provo; Mrs. John Reynolds of San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs. D. S. Burch of Washington, D. C, and Eva Berry of Salt Lake City; also 12 grandchildren, 17 greatgrandchildren great-grandchildren and two great-greatgrandchildren. |
