Xhe art exhibit this year has been termed by art committee members as one of the most successful suc-cessful held and the many visitors to the gallery have been loud in their praise of the fine quality paintings on display. While attendance at the exhibit may have been slightly reduced this year due to war conditions, visitors have registered from more than half of the states in the country and from practically every city in the state. Hardly a day has passed but a civic group from this city and others have viewed the paintings. Mrs. Mae Huntington, Floss Harmer, Glen Turner, J. F. Wingate, and others of the art committee have been called on daily to give talks on the pictures displayed.
