Show Mrs. Fred Hanson visited one day the past week with her sons, Floyd and Almon Harmer, and families at Payson. Earl Smith of Bakersfield, California, Cali-fornia, is visiting this week with Mr. and Mrs. Bassett Smith and other friends and relatives in Springville. . The Misses Merlene and Helen Tew plan to leave this week for Louisville, Kentucky, where they will live with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Tew, for the remainder re-mainder of the summer. Miss Maurine Bird is visiting in Ogden with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Bird. Richard and Ralph Bird of Ogden Og-den are visiting in Mapleton with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bird. They plan to stay about two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Reynolds Rey-nolds and family had as guests at their home recently, Mrs. I. C. Packard, Geraldine Packard, Mrs. S. E. Hedden, Mr. and Mrs. Orom Holt and two children, and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Richard. Miss Birdie Jean Reynolds has gone to Salt Lake City to visit her great-grandmother, Mrs. I. C. Packard, and to recuperate from a recent operation. Garney Johnson of Oakland, California, spent the past week visiting his sister, Mrs. Fred : Weight, and family here, s Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Faddis of Los Angeles have returned to , their home in Los Angeles after , visiting here the past week. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Delos Oakley, who plan to visit in Southern California a few weeks. Mrs. Newell Walker of Salt Lake City is visiting this week with Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Best. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Henrichsen, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Robertson, and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Klauck have just returned From an enjoyable week-end visiting the Grand Canyon, Can-yon, Kaibab Forest, and Zion National Na-tional park. Mrs. Gladys J. Nelson of Marys-vale, Marys-vale, California, is spending a few days with her sister, Mrs. Fred Weight of Springville. SNIPPER-SNAPPER CLUB MEETING HELD Members of the Snipper-Snapper 4-H club group met Friday afternoon at the home of the president, Miss Colleen Binks. Sewing was the diversion in line with the 4-H sewing project. In conclusion a delicious luncheon lunch-eon was served to the following girls: Dorothy Larsen, Barbara Bird, Norma Whiting, Mrs. Eva M. Bird, Arlene Whiting, and the hostess. |
