Nevertheless, the game was well played and very interesting. Although there was no really outstanding out-standing single player In the game, there were some nice plays by both teams. Oscar Carlson took the contest with a score of 2-4. Ferguson and Jensen did some nice grounding for the local five whlie Gene Nelson of Oscar's pitched a very good game for the winners. In the other Monday night game, the Springville Jaycees add-pd add-pd one more game to their perfect per-fect record in the Inter-Jaycee league against the Provo Jaycees 19 to 16. The game proved very interesting, with some of its clowning plays overshadowed with better plays. Warwick Palfrey-man's Palfrey-man's out hetween first and second, sec-ond, Glen Hansen's home run, and Steve Miller's nice play from third to first, were some of the highlights o.i the prolonged battle. bat-tle. Tuesday night, Ed. Roundy pitched a three-hit game for Springville Garage against the 2-3-4 M Men team to win 4-1.
