Show High School Opera To Be Given Tonight And FrL Large Chorus And Orchestra Will Support Leading Character Roles In Annual School Opera Presentation Tonight The music department of the high school, under the direction of Carl 0. Nelson, will present their annual an-nual opera in the high school auditorium at 8:15 p. m. -tomgnt ana jenaay. rney nave selected se-lected for their musical offering this year "A Waltz Dream," by Oscar Straus, and it is expected to be an entertainment of outstanding out-standing merit. Following the tryouts at the school, the best talent in the department de-partment was secured for leading roles and these are supported by a large chorus of fine voices and orchestra accompaniment. Virginia Virgin-ia Rivers has the dramatics in charge. Louise Clyde is accompanist accom-panist and Norma Bird is student director. Special scenery has been arranged ar-ranged for the production, which will also feature a gorgeous array of lovely costumes. Louis Maiben will be seen in the role of Lieutenant Niki, with Donna Fullmer as "Princess Hel-ene." Hel-ene." Eldean Weight takes the role of "Maximilian," and Kath-lyne Kath-lyne Metcalf, "Kay Robinson."
