This monument, monu-ment, a ten-foot pillar surmounted by a bed, draws many curious people to Spring Lake Lodge, the country home of Julius H. Walker who said he conceived the idea of the unique tribute to the bed during dur-ing some of his spare time. Mr Walker's previous contribution to the field of unusual monuments was one erected some time ago to the memory of Adam, the first man. |
