Winter quarter students will enjoy en-joy a rich cultural and recreational recrea-tional program as well as normal university work according to committee com-mittee neports. On the lyceum program, Jan Cherviansky, pianist; pi-anist; Gaspor Cassaro, cellist; En-ist En-ist Wolff, baritone; and Mary Ellen El-len Chase, novelist; have already appeared. Seven more programs, featuring ten performers equally famous in music, writing and International In-ternational affairs will appear during the quarter. In addition to regular weekly student body and social unit dances and social functions, the annual winter sports carnival and Junior Prom will take place in February and March respectively. Local Students At the Universities Provo, Utah Nine students from Springville and vicinity are tration this year, according to the registrar. The students are: Jos. Wm. 01-sen, 01-sen, Jr., Rodney Stebbins, Douglas Brown, Eileen Felix, Elmo M. Jensen, Karl H. Allem&n, Howard Haymond all of Springville and among 360 additional students ' registering during the winter quarter at Brigham Young university uni-versity here.
