Following the serving of a delicious deli-cious luncheon, bridge was played, play-ed, with prizes going to Inez Cha-der Cha-der and Helen Robbins. Special guests were Mrs. Minnie Richards and Mrs. Maurine Raymond., Ray-mond., and members present were Hortense Harward, Berniece Packard, Pack-ard, Gladys Averett, Alice Enee, Gwen Cutler, Norma Noe, and Birdie Thorpe. , I MOTHERS' STUDY CLUB HAS ART TOUR Members of the Mothers' Study j club were conducted on a tour of the Art building Friday night. During the evening Jim Brails-ford Brails-ford gave a violin solo, accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. Belle Thomas; Miss Dorothy Van Schaack gave a vocal solo, with Louise Clyde accompanying accom-panying her, and Don Humphrey, also accompanied by Miss Clyde, gave a vocal solo. Miss Virginia Rivers gave a reading. Mrs. Nellie Burt was appointed alternate to the state convention for President Gladys Boyer, and j Mrs. Beth Barrett was chosen as a delegate and Mrs. Philda Fin-ley Fin-ley as alternate. The young couple were married Thursday at Provo in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, with the Catholic Father officiating. officiat-ing. The lovely young bride was attired at-tired in a white net gown and wore a fingertip veil caught to her head with a seed pearl crown. She carried a bouquet of gardenias and rosebuds. Leola Bona was maid of honor, and the Misses Francis Sporcich, Lena Carnesecca, and Rhea Bona, were bridesmaids. All the young ladies wore gowns in pastel shades and corsages of sweet peas and rosebuds. John Bleggi was best man. In charge of the gift room were Clara and Ruby Stark, and Rose, Olga, Ann, and Mary Bleggi were in charge of refreshments. An entertaining program was given during the evening, with Clarence Smith acting as master of ceremonies. Program numbers were a vocal duet, Virginia and Genevieve Bird; vocal solo, Mrs. Ross Bradford; Brad-ford; novelty vocal number, "Happy "Hap-py Chappies," Roe McCurdy, Dick Conover, and Clarence Smith; accordion ac-cordion solo, Dale Barnett; song and dance number, Ruth Ann Barrett; Bar-rett; song, Monte Bona. MRS. YATES HONORED AT FAREWELL PARTY Mrs. Alice Yates, who is leaving Mapleton soon, was guest of honor at a party held Saturday night at her home. JOVALTY CLUB HAS DINNER AT CHICKEN ROOST Mrs. Margaret Sumsion entertained enter-tained members of the Jovalty club Thursday night at the Chicken, Roost. Following dinner, the group played bridge at the Sumsion home, with prizes for the games going to Clara Childs for first and to Luell Best for second. Members attending were Ann Stewart, Sarabell Stewart, Lucille Packard, Luell Best, Mary Bird, Mabel Simkins, Merle Packard, Carrie Jolley, Clara ChUds, Afton Palfreyman, Louise Brown, and Virginia Harker was a special guest.
