Show D. U. P. MEETING AT REGULAR MEET A history of Joseph Wm. Allan and his wife, Mrs. Fannie Kindred Allan, together with a lesson on early cemeteries, sextons, and undertakers, un-dertakers, featured a meeting of the D. U. P. Camp Kolob, Thursday Thurs-day afternoon at the home of Mrs. Gwen Cutler. The history was given by Mrs. Lulu Witney, a daughter of the pioneers, and the lesson by Mrs. Edith Clayton. The meeting was under direction direc-tion of Mrs. Sarah Weight, camp captain, and Mrs. Erva Child announced an-nounced the date of the Pal Party to be given Friday, Nov. 17. LaRae Allan gave a vocal solo and Mrs. Elva Tipton gave a reading. read-ing. At the close of the meeting, tasty tas-ty refreshments were served by Mrs. Delphia Hardy, Mrs. Sarah Dalton, Mrs. Ina Gottfredson, Mrs. Olive Miller, Mrs. Emma Van Leu-van Leu-van and Mrs. Cutler. |
